What is the Daily Rate of Ouhud GmbH?

Short answer

Ouhud GmbH does not publish a flat daily rate. Each project is individually calculated because the scope of work, technical complexity, required roles, time frame, and operational and support requirements can vary significantly. After technical clarification, customers receive a transparent and understandable offer.

Why Ouhud Does Not Provide a Flat Daily Rate

Software projects are not interchangeable standard services. Two projects with similar-sounding goals can require vastly different effort: One may leverage existing interfaces and clean data, while the other requires data cleaning, special rights, additional security checks, or later readiness for operation. A published flat rate would obscure these differences and promise comparability that does not exist in practice.

That is why Ouhud GmbH does not publish a flat daily rate. Each project is individually calculated.

What Determines the Calculation

  • Scope of Work: Which processes, functions, and results are agreed upon definitively?
  • Technical Complexity: Which systems, interfaces, and data repositories must be involved?
  • Required Roles: Is development sufficient or do additional architecture, project management, data protection, or operation roles need to be considered?
  • Time Frame and Collaboration: How much alignment is required and what level of customer involvement is expected?
  • Operation and Support: Does hosting, monitoring, maintenance, or fixed reaction times fall under the scope of work?

These points are separately considered before the calculation. This ensures no flat price for an unknown project but a quote for a clearly described scope of work.

How a Reliable Offer Is Created

At the outset is a technical discussion about objectives, initial conditions, and priorities. Afterward, assumptions, included services, boundaries, and recognizable risks are documented in writing. Only on this basis is the effort evaluated and an appropriate billing model proposed.

For clearly defined tasks, a fixed price can be sensible. If requirements are only clarified during the project, step-by-step engagement or billing based on actual effort often provides greater transparency. The key is not the name of the model but that the customer understands what is included before engagement, how changes will be handled, and what additional effort may arise.

What Customers Should Compare

A single daily rate does not indicate how many days an provider needs or what services are included. Offers become reliably comparable only when they cover the same scope, assumptions, and responsibilities. Ouhud lays these foundations in its offer to ensure that decisions are based on more than a single number.

The concrete remuneration is agreed upon at the start of the service in the offer or contract. In the absence of an agreement on remuneration, the usual remuneration may be deemed agreed under § 632 Abs. 2 BGB. Therefore, a written, project-specific agreement provides more clarity for both parties than a general statement on a website.

Example from practice

An integration project can require significantly different effort despite having a similar user interface compared to a new development. Only clarified interfaces, data, roles, and operational requirements make both projects seriously calculable.
